Coconut Chia Bananas
This quick and easy-to-make banana snack is a healthy way to satisfy sweet cravings. Using all natural ingredients, this snack is gluten free, dairy free and guilt-free.
¼ cup shredded coconut
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Slice the banana into 1cm thick pieces
Sprinkle banana pieces with chia seeds and shredded coconut
Eat as is or heat some coconut oil in a frypan and lightly fry the bananas pieces with chia seeds and shredded coconut until golden.
Banana, peanut butter and honey rice cakes
This is my go-to snack when I have a sweet tooth and want to whip up something quickly. Banana, peanut butter and honey is one of the best combos of all time and when smothered on rice cakes, makes for an all-natural, gluten-free and dairy-free treat.
1 banana (sliced)
2-3 rice cakes
Peanut Butter (I use Sanitarium Natural Peanut Butter – It is made from 100% peanuts and there is no added sugar, salt or preservatives).
Spread the peanut butter over the rice cakes, top with banana slices and drizzle with honey. Yum!
